lawn tractors. Their high output 122cm cutter decks soon

cut large areas of grass down to size.

Twin cylinder Briggs & Stratton engines powering infinitely

variable hydrostatic transmissions deliver smooth and

controllable drive to the wheels. Controls are ergonomically

designed and placed within easy reach of the operator. A fully

adjustable seat and illuminated diagnostic display add to the

driving experience.

The 2448H 4WD has a “Dial a Height” control – select the

height of cut to suit your conditions and this setting will be

retained. For sure grip on slopes or in adverse conditions it

also has the added benefit of 4WD.

An audible alarm notifies the operator when the collector is full,

however, when conditions are suitable collection and disposal

of grass clippings can be eliminated by fitting the mulching kit

supplied. Mulching grass is a great feature as it saves so much

time. It can be more than 30% quicker as there is no stopping

work to drive to the tip to empty clippings so this also results in

a significant fuel saving. Mulching the grass allows the

clippings to be recycled, improving the soil as they decompose

forming a natural fertiliser high in potash and nitrogen. You will

notice a marked improvement in your grass as this fertiliser

takes effect over the course of the cutting season. You may

well ask “Will I see the mulched grass?” The answer is “No!”

Mulched clippings are blown down into the turf and are not

noticeable provided the grass is cut regularly and not on the

lowest setting.

From fine lawns to unruly paddocks you can be confident that

these tractors will take heavy workloads in their stride.

up to 5 acres.
