Petrol Engine

4-wheel Mowers

Petrol engine mowers are an ideal choice for larger areas,

they are more powerful than mains electric mowers and not

restricted by a cable. Modern engines are easy to start –

especially Mountfield’s own range of engines.

Developed specifically for lawnmower applications Mountfield

engines comply with stringent noise and vibration legislation

even when powering the cutting blade at 3,000rpm – the

optimum speed for high performance.

Suitable for general purpose use 4 wheel machines provide an

excellent finish on all types of lawn. If you want a classic

striped effect finish you’ll need a mower with a rear roller, see

the models on page 32.

With a range of cutting widths and Mountfield or Honda engine

options you will find a model to suit your requirements,

whatever your needs.

HP414 & SP414

Two exciting machines which offer petrol engine power and

ease of use at mains electric mower prices. Common features

are 39cm cutting widths, tough polypropylene cutter decks and

powerful Mountfield RS100 OHV engines. Hand propelled or

self propelled options are available – the choice is yours.

Model HP414

S421HP & S421PD

These mowers are “no frills” machines but that doesn’t mean

we have compromised on quality, far from it. Available hand

propelled or self propelled to make cutting your grass even

easier, both have steel cutter decks with 41cm cutting widths,

are powered by Mountfield RSC100 OHV engines, come

complete with mulching kits and represent excellent value for

money.

Model S421HP

S461 HP,

S461 PD

& S461 PD/ES

With 46cm cutting widths and a

choice of hand propelled or self

propelled these mowers all have

single point height of cut adjustment.

Quick release fittings allow the

handles to be folded easily for

storage. Recoil start Mountfield

engines power two models, that also

come with mulching kits, while the

S461 PD/ES has an electric key start

engine for ultimate ease of use.

Model S464 PD

S464 PD

If you have slopes or large lawns a

mower with power drive makes cutting

the grass much easier and thanks to

the 4-speed transmission on the 46cm

cutting width S464 PD you can also

select your forward speed.

This model has quick release handle

fittings, single point height of cut

adjustment and a powerful 160cc

Mountfield RM55 OHV engine.

Model S461 PD/ES

HW 511 PD

The Mountfield 4-in-1 Combi System gives you the choice of

grass collection, rear discharge, side discharge or an excellent

recycled (mulched) finish. The mulching plug is supplied as

standard and simply clips into the deck of the mower to produce

an unbelievable finish without collecting the cuttings.

The rugged HW 511 PD 4-in-1 is a very

popular high specification self propelled

mower with a powerful Mountfield

RM55 160cc OHV engine.

With a 51cm cutting width and

large rear wheels this mower

will make swift work of

large uneven lawns.
